Stacy Gross
Stacy (Sox) Gross was born and raised in Columbia, SC, and more specifically, the quaint little town of Forest Acres, where she resides today with her husband, Kevin, and teenage children Savannah and Blake. Stacy’s love for nurturing and supporting others led her to a career as a Middle School Counselor at her alma mater, Heathwood Hall Episcopal School.
Growing up, Stacy’s family spent lots of time at the beautiful South Carolina beaches, where Stacy began to recognize how escapes to beautiful places fed her soul. After she and Kevin got married, they began to prioritize travel, first as a couple, and then as a family once they welcomed children into the fold. They feel incredibly blessed that their teenage children still enjoy spending time traveling together, and some favorite adventures have included Disney World, Costa Rica, and Caribbean cruises.
One of the most profound moments in Stacy’s traveling journeys occurred in 2012 when Stacy and Kevin took Savannah to Disney World for her first time. Witnessing a child’s wide-eyed wonder as she immersed herself in the enchanting world of Disney was a truly transformative experience, and experiencing Disney as an adult allowed Stacy to feel the magic that provided an escape from the challenges of everyday life. She returned home feeling invigorated and hopeful and still enjoys this Disney impact after every trip.
Since that return to Disney in 2012, Stacy has “unofficially” helped many family and friends plan Disney vacations, and she realized that this time spent delving into all of the nuances of the Disney Magic is invigorating, while bringing joy and relief to her loved ones who may not want to spend all of the time to research resorts, restaurants, and the best ways to make the most efficient use of time. After many conversations with Jenny Brown, Stacy ultimately decided to take the leap and chase her dream of becoming a Disney Travel Specialist, and she can’t wait to help you plan your next Favorite Day Adventure!
