About Lauren
Lauren was born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina. She graduated from Clemson with a Bachelor's in Nursing and received her Master's in Nursing from USC. Lauren and her husband have called Mt. Pleasant, SC home for 13 years, where they live with their two kids. Lauren turned her love for helping people into her profession, serving as a nurse practitioner in the ICU.
In addition to nursing, Lauren's other passion is travel. Lauren's love of travel was fostered through her adventures "tagging along" with each of her grandmothers, who were both regular travelers themselves. When she wasn't at the beach with BJ, Grammie Aline kept her in the mountains of Western North Carolina. When Lauren got a little older, BJ would take her to visit friends in France and England.
Lauren loves to experience new places and people. She and her husband have traveled to the Caribbean multiple times and have fallen in love with the culture and beauty of the islands. Her kids have also been bitten by the travel bug. Their favorite games are "airplane" and "hotel" where they pack up and pretend to travel somewhere – although the kids usually pick Disney (and who can blame them?). While the Neeses love their Caribbean vacations, Lauren admits that nothing compares to her children's excitement for a Disney vacation.
Lauren and her husband first did Disney with their kids in 2018, and, like so many, were hooked! The joy and excitement on their children's faces made them an instant Disney family. She found herself planning their next trip on the way home from their current trip. On a recommendation, this self-proclaimed Disney expert let Favorite Day Adventures plan her trip and knew she had found a team of kindred spirits!
Like a true travel lover, Lauren has almost as much fun planning vacations for others as she does taking them. Her areas of interest are Disney, South Carolina beaches, Turks and Caicos, Cayman Islands and Mexico.
