About Kelly
Kelly was born in Columbia, SC and lives with her own family not far from where her parents still live in the same house where she grew up. Although home is her favorite place to be besides the beach, she discovered a love for traveling while growing up when her family would take yearly summer trips. She and her brother would travel with her parents to her dad's business conferences, and every trip seemed to include a new adventure.
A couple of the trips that stand out to her the most are a lengthy drive to Boston where they stopped in New York City to visit the Statue of Liberty and a trip to Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania where the town really does smell like chocolate. Of course, some of the most memorable family trips were from their time spent at the most magical place of all where her parents passed along their love for all things Disney. One of her favorite Disney World memories as a child was being on a monorail tour to see Epcot being built.
Years later, it was only fitting when Kelly and her husband Michael got married that they shared in their mutual love for Disney and celebrated their honeymoon at Disney World. Then as their family expanded with children, Kelly could not wait to pass along the love of Disney and the tradition of family vacations. Their first trip to Disney World was when their kids were each 5 and 3 years old, and they have been several times since, even celebrating each child's 16th birthday with special trips.
Kelly loves to research and plan a new family adventure each summer and has enjoyed learning along the way, always passing along her best tips and planning advice to family members and friends who ask. When the opportunity came along for her to join the Favorite Day Adventures team, she was excited about the opportunity to help others plan their next vacation to make some fun, family memories, too!

She planned a five night stay for our family of five (kids aged 12, 10, 6) including hotels, museum timed entry reservations, lunch and dinner reservations, ect. She made it all so easy! An app brought me to her trip planning page which had copies of each reservation so I could quickly show the museum entry department our information-walking past the LINES of people who did not have timed entry was amazing!
